Exhibition, The Art is not present, Art Fair Suomi, Helsinki

My work is part of the group exhibition "The Art is not present" at ART FAIR SUOMI 2015 in Helsinki. ‘The Art is not present’ deals with working process and absent art. The artists, however, are present at the art fair. ART FAIR SUOMI is an international art fair that will take place from 17 to 20 September at the Cable Factory in Helsinki. It is co-organised by Artists’ Association MUU and the Photographic Artists’ Association in Finland.

about: The art is not present’ deals with working process and absent art. We decided not to bring our art to the fair, but to bring a glimpse of our proces, that what bind us. The work contained neon letters, a video and our dialogue with the audience. Work in collaboration with: Annabelle Schatteman, Chris de Vis, & Lili Berger

in the press: "One of the most elegant contributions to Art Fair Suomi 2015 is Noordwal 117‘s luminant title/text work. The video that accompanies focuses on the artistic working process by artists Chris de Vis, Lili Berger, Anke van den Berg & Annabelle Schatteman. No completed art is shown in the video or the gallery’s booth."- John Gayer/ postcardcabobble
